Pundaquit San Antonio, Zambales.

Meeting place in receiving area of Shopwise Araneta at 3:00am. Joan sent message telling that the van will be delayed by 30 minutes. Nag-meet sa Shell station sa expressway and then convoy papuntang Subic.

Since bago, mabait pa ung patrol man. Cyangapala, 20-30 minutes lang from Clark to Subic sa SCTEX.

Malayo ang Wild Rose beach resort sa shore contrary to the claim by the resort owner that it is only stones throw away.

We headed off to the beach where our boat was waiting. A boat here going to Anawangin cost around Php 700 going to and fro. A boat can carry 4-5 pax. So off we go on a about 30 minute boat ride to Anawangin. The waves were calm. We passed by the islands Capones and Camara on our right. We were already at the cove mouth and was headed towards the shore. The cove landscape look really amazing. And what I immediately noticed aside from it’s white sand beach are the pine trees! It’s the first time I’ve ever seen a beach with pine trees along the shore. The caretaker of the cove said that pine trees started to grow the cove after the Pinatubo eruption.
